Power-In improves treatment efficiency and safety

The BACK3TX device is equipped with the Tecar X electrode, which records electrode movements in space. The Tecar X's motion sensors analyze the therapist's movements to provide maximum support during treatment. They also enable the therapist to control the device remotely, selecting modes and controlling power through recorded movements. But that's not all! On top of this, the device is made even more intelligent thanks to its Power-In functionality.

To understand how it works, it's important to distinguish between intensity and power: intensity corresponds to what you want to achieve, while power corresponds to what you need. In this way, Power-In adjusts power to achieve the desired effect, whatever the configuration (variation in distance, resistance or electrode size) during treatment. Power-In takes four parameters into account: mode (CET/RET/MIX), electrode size and/or specificity (Hi-RET, bracelets), distance and impedance. Taking all these parameters into account, the Power-In continuously calculates the right power for the chosen intensity.

The Power-In provides optimum comfort, greater efficiency (thanks to impedance calculation) and enhanced safety (whatever the distance), while facilitating the practitioner's work. Resistance changes with movement, and the Power-In adjusts accordingly, meaning that it is no longer necessary to adjust intensity to compensate for changes in distance between electrode and return plate. Power-In adapts power to each phase of movement, facilitating active work. For example, depending on the internal, medium or external stroke, the Power-In adapts to the resistance encountered, ensuring constant energy throughout the exercise.

Using the Power-In system, the Dual-Core analyzes in real time the optimum energy required to pass through the patient's body. What's more, the new mobile return handle makes treatment of the upper limbs much easier, as it can be held by the patient to direct the energy to the targeted area. This combination of Power-In and Tecar X intelligent handles enables therapists to improve the efficiency and speed of treatment.
